43ª OTSO Travessa d'Encamp 2025
From 22 to 24 May 2026
This year marks the 43rd anniversary of the Travessa d'Encamp; the first race was held in 1983. This year’s event features seven routes, all starting and finishing in Encamp, at Plaça dels Arínsols.
7k: a 7-kilometre race, taking place on Sunday at 9.30 am. It is ideal for beginners and can be completed at a walking pace. Maximum time limit: 3 hours.
12k: a 12-kilometre route, starting on Sunday at 8.45 am with a maximum time limit of 5 hours. It is more challenging than the first race, particularly in the opening metres which are uphill and lead to the peak of Agols.
21k: a race requiring a higher technical level, designed for experienced runners. It covers a distance of 21 km, starting on Sunday 24th at 8.00 am.
42k: a 42 km mountain marathon starting on Saturday 23 May at 9.00 am. It is a very technical route with significant elevation gain, suitable only for the most experienced mountain runners.
84k: this is the ultra-distance race of the Travessa d'Encamp. It is an 84-kilometre route, with part of the race taking place at night, starting on Saturday 23 May at 5am. The route is very demanding both physically and mentally and is aimed at runners with extensive experience in mountain races.
There is also a children’s race for boys and girls aged 6 to 11. This is a circular route designed to give the youngest participants a taste of the Travessa.
There is also a 5-kilometre Vertical race, which will take place on Friday 22 May at 6 pm.
